Using the LCMD Network to Connect to the Internet

If network restrictions prevent the AI Pod from downloading container images, forward all AI Pod traffic to an LCMD device on the same local network and use it as the internet gateway.

Run on the LCMD device

SSH into the LCMD device and run the following commands (replace 192.168.31.0 with the actual local network segment):

iptables -t nat -I POSTROUTING --source 192.168.31.0/24 -j MASQUERADE
iptables -P FORWARD ACCEPT

Run on the AI Pod (replace 192.168.31.60 with the LCMD device's IP address)

sudo ip route add default via 192.168.31.60
